strep. started in a small studio in Antwerp with one stubborn idea: the best headphones should disappear, leaving only the music and the room you choose to be in.
It began with a long commute.
Every morning brought the same tram, the same noise and the same headphones that looked like gadgets and felt like work. We wanted something closer to a good coat: quiet, well made and better the longer you have it.
So we started building, not in a lab but in a studio where people actually listen. Engineers, DJs and people who simply love records sat with prototype after prototype, until the sound stopped getting in the way of the music.

Tuned by ear
Measurements tell us where to start, and listening tells us when we're done. Every strep. is voiced by people, not by a spreadsheet.
Built to last
Cushions click off, batteries can be replaced and screws hold everything together, so a strep. can stay with you for years.
Nothing extra
No flashing lights, no logos shouting from the side and no features added for the sake of a spec sheet. Only what makes the music better.
Where we are.
